nestedProperty.js's core logic processed dotted property paths without checking for 'proto' segments. The patch explicitly adds a loop to reject properties starting with '__'.
expandObjectPaths in index.js handled nested object expansion without prototype pollution guards. The 5efd2a1 commit added a 'notValid' check to block '__'-prefixed keys.
