The commit diff shows explicit additions of OP_REQUIRES checks for 4-dimensional out_backprop in both Conv2DBackpropInputOp and Conv2DCustomBackpropInputOp classes. These checks were absent in vulnerable versions, allowing the CHECK failure when handling malformed input_sizes. The test case added in conv_ops_test.py directly exercises this code path, confirming the affected functions.
